The College

SKR Engineering College established in the year 2001, is managed by Srinivasa Educational Trust. The College is situated on the Bangalore highway and is about 20 km from Chennai Central Railway station and Airport.

The College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The College is ISO 9001:2000 certified by TUV Germany for its quality educational Management System.

The College runs with the sole aim of imparting quality technical education to the students and to develop them into best Engineers, both in theory and practice. We do not Just confine with teaching Science and Technology of Engineering, but strive to crown it with an exercise to instill into each student the virtues and skills needed to make a difference in the world of tomorrow

	Mr. A.M. Srinivasan Chairman He is from a Well-known and highly respectable family. He is the founder of many enterprises which are flourishing as a beacon light to the younger generation.
	Mr. K. Ramadoss Managing Trustee He is a well known philanthropist and a successful entrepreneur in Chennai for several decades. He provides the best facilities and help for the students who aspire for better educational opportunities
	Mr. Suresh Babu Treasurer He is an Industrialist and Social Activist. His vibrant personality dedicated with his principles of rendering superior service to the community.
	Dr. A. Sivamurthy Academic Advisor He is a former Controller of Examinations and Registrar i/c, University of Madras. He has four decades of experience as a teacher, as a researcher and as an administrator. With his international exposure, he has been successful in making this institution to attain best in class among all
	Mrs. R. Suganthi Director - Student Affairs She zealously leads the college to the front. Her unflinching support rendered in all administrative and academic activities is well acknowledged.
	Dr. M. Senthil Kumar Principal Dr. M.SENTHIL KUMAR is a Post graduate in Automobile Engineering and a Doctorate in Vehicle Dynamics, both from MIT, Anna University, Chennai. He has vast teaching / research experience. He has presented 9 papers in the National level Journals/Conferences and published 8 papers in the International Journals/Conferences. He has authored books on Engineering Graphics, Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Practice (Manual). His area of specialization is in CAD/CAM, Product Development, Innovative Teaching Methodologies, Because of his expertise he has got 2 patents registered in his name and is a consultant in the area of Injection Moulded parts and PDC moulded parts & assemblies. He has developed CBT Material & interactive modules for the subject “Engineering Graphics” which is first of its kind in India and has been identified as subject expert on Engineering Graphics
	Mrs. Divya Sathish Director - Academics She is a young and dynamic person with far sighted personality. Her great vision continuously supports the institution to lead the rest
	Prof.M.Devarajan Mathan Dean-Planning and Development Attained BE Honours degree in Electronics & Communication and ME in Applied Electronics from the prestigious PSG College of technology Coimbatore. He has over two decades of Industrial experience and 5 years of teaching experience. He has been trained at NITIE- Mumbai on MIS systems and Computerized quality control methods. He is also an ISO 9002 systems internal auditor An award winner in the area of multilayer PCB design and manufacturing. He had project assignments in the United states with Intel – Oregon on PCB Library component creation and Touchdown Technologies – at Los Angeles for MEMS testing probe manufacturing process establishments.
	Dr. Sathya Sai Prakash Dean-School of Computing Dr. Sai Prakash has about 12 years cross functional, cross domain expertise derived through academia, industry and corporate research. His multifaceted skill-set makes him a fine techno manager with scientific blend and bent of mind. Dr. Sai has successfully established research centers across academic institutions and organizations. He has double masters (M.Sc - Mathematics and M.Tech - Computer Science) from Sri Sathya Sai University and PhD from IIT Madras. Additional PGDIM and PGDFM degrees were awarded from IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University).
