S K R Engineering College has conducted S K R TIN Jubilee National level workshop on Free and Open Source Software – Linux Know How (LKH)-2010, a unique hands-on workshop with technologies such as Open Source Architecture and Cloud Computing, Virtualization, File System Architecture, php and python. Exclusive applications have been developed by the participants who ranged across Bangalore and various parts of TamilNadu, Not only the faculty has attended the workshop, but also people from Software Industry such as HCL technologies also have attended this wonderful workshop. Guest lecture by Mr.Arun Eapen from RED-HAT India on Open Source Architecture and Cloud Computing stood as highlight of the workshop. And the Guest of Honor Mr.T.Srinivasan and Mr.P.Raman from ILUGC ( Indian Linux User Group) Chennai have trained on Linux file System Architecture , PERL , PHP and other multimedia applications.
