Department of Science and Humanities

The Department of Science and Humanities is the backbone of the entire Engineering Education. It supports efficiently the Engineering Departments by providing quality training in basic sciences. The main subjects Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English take shelter under the wide umbrella of the Department of Science and Humanities.

The Department is enriched with fully furnished PC based Communication lab and a good library with more than 250 volumes on various titles. Special spoken English classes are conducted for weak students to improve their communication skills.

Lab Facilities

Chemistry Lab

The chemistry lab contains the latest industrial equipments necessary for analyzing samples such as  UV – Vis spectroscopy, flame photometry, conductivity meter, pH meter, Pensky marten's apparatus & bomb calorimeter. It caters to the needs of the Anna university syllabus and student's quest for the experiments related to Engineering chemistry.

The lab also helps the students to know the latest techniques involved in analyzing samples and material study. With this knowledge students come to know that in what ways materials are characterized industrially. This will enable them in their future studies to analyze about characterization of samples. Since all the instruments are digital, students will perform the experiments with ease.

Physics Lab

This lab caters to the needs of the first year Engineering students of Anna University. The experiments that are devised for the students are made to the scope and application for their future endeavor in higher studies.

Communication Skills Lab

The English Department is enriched with a fully furnished PC based communication skills lab. This lab helps to improve the student's ability to speak fluently in English. It supports efficiently the Engineering Departments by providing quality training in communication skills. It also enhances the students mental ability and soft skills, which helps them to have a better exposure to the practical world.

A Message For You: Kashmir does not want militarized governance - STOP killing children, raping women and imprisoningthe men! They just want freedom! Freedom from the evil of the Indian Military! For those of your politicians who boast of Kashmir being an integral part of India read your own law books: " Indian Penal Code(Act No. 45 of 1860) CHAPTER-II SEC 18: “India”.- “India” means the territory of India excluding the State of Jammu and Kashmir." Ghandi said "Freedom is never dear at any price. It is the breath of life. What would a man not pay for living? The 15th of August is special for you because you got freedom on this day yet you should think that do you really deserve to celebrate this freedom if you do not stop the wrong doings in Kashmir. Everyday 100s of innocent people are abused, raped and even killed in kashmir by the indian army, a THIRD of the deaths are children We don't want war, take back your men, your tanks and your guns and go back to where you came from, all we ask is for freedom. You can kill us but you cant kill us all. We shall not give up, giving up is not an option. Feel the POWER of Pakistan www.pakcyberpyrates.tk PakistanZindabad
