S K R Engineering College imparts high quality engineering education with a single motto – Offer Superior Knowledge Resources to our nation. 

Established in the year 2001, after a decade long tireless efforts in undergraduate engineering, S K R’s Tin Jubilee Celebrations got lit up with the sanction and approval of M. E – Computer Science and Engineering in the year 2010. This course is so common under the aegis of Anna University of Technology, Chennai (Incidentally it is the first batch for AUT, Chennai tooJ) yet distinctly different under the portals of S K R Engineering College. 

At S K R, emphasis is laid on quality teaching, research and practice oriented studies, and interaction based learning. Doctorates and senior experienced faculty with masters degree only venture to teach and groom ME students.  

Each ME student of S K R, is expected to compliment the regular prescribed courses with top class (IEEE/ACM) journal paper references, presentations on state of the art advances in each subject and relevant mini-projects. 

ME Students are groomed with the expectation that they will develop a sense of research aptitude, quantitative analysis and qualitative thinking. Once they complete the course they should best suit either industry or academia or pursuance of doctoral program. 

Symposia, seminars and colloquiums are common activities among masters’ students. Visiting personnel from reputed institutions such as IITs and industry add luster to the ME@SKR.
