The growth of Versatile operating Systems, programming languages,
Electronics and Communication system have given the software industry, a boom to develop real time application and high-end
products. As the need of the hours is Quality professionals who could equip themselves to industry standards and become apart of "Technology inventors", the Department of Computer Science and Engineering targets the students to acquire the present industrial requirements in various domains such as Data Structures, DBMS, Systems Software, OOPS, Networks and Web Technology etc. so as to provide better employment opportunities
The internet center has a facility of 2 Mbps leased line connection. The Department has been encouraging the students to work and develop various software projects.
It has also been creating opportunities for pursuing postgraduate programmes in reputed
Indian and foreign universities. The Department library has a collection of 500 books on various titles catering to the needs of staff and students.
The Society Computer Science TRACE (Technology Reformers Association for Computer Science Engineers) provides a platform for the students to sharpen their problem - solving, programming and team work skills. The Society also organizes a State Level Technical Symposium every year.
