SKR Engineering College welcomed the year 2010 with an ambitious goal to identify the Best School for Budding Engineers as well as Best Budding Engineers by conferring them with innovative awards such as S K R Rotary BSBE Award 2010.SKR Engineering College also conducted on-line comprehensive test to identify the technical skills of the participant and embark SKREC as technology leader of the future.

About BBEA 2011:

After a thumping success of BSBE 2010 which had enthused about 500+ budding engineers, now S K R Engineering College is geared up to bring out its second edition as Mega School level Engineering Carnival BBEA 2011.

Eligibility

BBEA Science Exhibition is open for 10th, +1 and +2 or equivalent level students who study Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science.

Topics:

Suggested areas for preparing abstracts are given below. You may base your idea on any other relevant and related areas.
Civil Engineering:

Design Prototypes of Leaning Tower of Pisa, Eiffel Tower etc.
Working model of Richter scale,
Earthquake resistant Building
Simulation of Tsunami, Typhoon, Tornado etc.

Electrical Engineering:

Working models of Dynamo/Generator
Prototypes of Alternate Energy Generators based on Wind, Solar, Steam, Nuclear etc.
Flexible Capacity Electric Grid designs and models

Mechanical Engineering:

Robot Designs
Supersonic Jets, Train Engines etc.
Multimodal Transport (Air/Surface/Water) models

Electronics/Communication Engineering:

Circuits for alarms
Exhibits of TV, Radio and other home appliances
Cool gadgets

Computer Engineering:
Any working software or application in all Computer science related areas such as Operating Systems, Databases, and Web Applications etc.

Implementation and creation of exhibits have to be display at S K R Engineering College campus on 03.06.2011 and 04.06.2011. Other exciting onsite events include Quiz, Oral Presentations etc.

Rules and Regulations:

1. Team size of each exhibit should not be more than four.
2. Team details with exhibit title must reach the Coordinator latest by 15.05.2011.

3. A team may have a mentor for developing the project.
4. All details pertaining to the mentor and team members’ name, School name, address
along with phone numbers and email ID (if any) must be provided during the registration.
5. BBEA Science Exhibition is open for 10th, +1 and +2 or equivalent grade students
6.All participants have to bring any of the following identity proofs.
a. School ID card
b. Hall ticket issued by board for 10th, +1 or +2
c. Marks sheet of 9th, 10th, or +1

General Instructions

1. Judging and Evaluation panel will comprise of experts from academia
and industry (IIT's, Anna University, TCS, IBM, HP, WIPRO…).
2. Judging and Evaluation panel's decision is final.

3.Transport will be available on 3rd and 4th June 2011 from and to Poonamallee bus stand.

4.Lunch will be provided.
